What happens with suppliers' consignment stock?
Recorded consumption, with its UDI identification where applicable, makes it possible to reconcile use, replenishment and invoicing with each supplier from shared data.
Do we have to change the way we order all at once?
No. Consumption-based replenishment is introduced unit by unit, with agreed levels, alongside the current process until it is stable.
Does it integrate with our purchasing system?
Yes. Integration with the existing ERP and purchasing systems is agreed with the hospital's IT team, so records are not duplicated.
